But anyway, I’m not saying that Desertec itself is my dream job, just the concept of trying to address both global poverty and renewable energy in the same fell swoop. It’s undeniable that globalization has come with both positive and negative aspects, but I seriously doubt we can “go back”, and thus need to address problems of the global commons with both large- and small-scale solutions.
